Lemon Tree Okayama is a kominka café in Kita-ku, Okayama. What our Italian owner fell in love with was the long depth between the pillars. During the renovation, old Japanese newspapers appeared under the tatami, just as our mamma arrived from Italy with pages of old Italian newspapers. Together, they now decorate our doors.
